In a private yoga, session, Felise will devote her undivided attention to your yoga practice. Every session is designed specifically to meet your individual needs. For some students, the session may be entirely a physical (asana) practice. For others, the session may be a combination of meditation, discussion of philosophy, chanting, and asana. Felise teaches yoga asana classes in a vinyasa style (asana sequence linked by breath and correct intention). Each class places a strong emphasis on the educational and historical aspects of yoga and ancient teaching.

While yoga classes are an effective way of learning and practicing. I believe that there comes a time when a student’s needs can best be served in a one-on-one relationship with a teacher. By taking private yoga you will be advancing your personal discipline, which can be enhanced by group classes. When you keep encountering the same blocks or problems. We can focus on special interests, such as specific physical areas, certain asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation, or meditation practice. Personal attention can also be given to help you modify postures and then develop with alternatives postures to accommodate your physical ability. Private yoga allows time to assist you in adjustments, understanding injuries, and taking the time to use restorative props. Yoga can be helpful when recovering from serious medical procedures. We can meet your unique needs: We customize our services to meet your specific needs-Implementation of Program: Classes are scheduled after work or during lunch hour. Classes are designed for multi-levels. Sign up for an 8-week segment, a minimum group of 15 students required and there is no upward limit, depending on your space capacity. Mats and equipment can also be ordered and delivered to your location for a fee. Classes can be scheduled for before/after work or during lunch hours *Designed for all levels – beginners through advanced Classes can be of varying lengths of 45 to 90 minutes or more We will provide 6, 8 or 12-week sessions. Minimum group requirement of 10 (depending on your space availability).
Special Events: For organizations that would like to plan a yoga, meditation or stress management workshop for a special event, Shiva Shanti Yoga can provide a one-time seminar. Cost and Rates depend on the number of students and class location. We offer a special discounted rate for contracts of 6 months or more.
